Clark O. Brewster is an accomplished attorney and partner at Brewster & De Angelis in Oklahoma. Throughout his illustrious career, he has successfully handled numerous civil and criminal cases and has developed a reputation for being one of the area’s leading trial lawyers. Notably, he was one of the youngest lawyers ever to receive the prestigious AV® Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest peer-review rating offered by the organization. He is also listed in the Best Lawyers in America® 2002 – 2003 Edition and has been repeatedly recognized for his commitment to his clients, as well as his long track record of success in achieving noteworthy results for his clients.

At the firm, Clark focuses his practice on highly complex litigation. His experience encompasses commercial litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and criminal defense. To date, he has litigated cases in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, New Mexico, New York, and Texas. He is frequently consulted by his peers on matters regarding civil and criminal case preparation and litigation, and he has been sought out to serve as a lecturer and presenter to attorneys on a variety of subjects, including jury selection, medical malpractice litigation, presenting expert witnesses, and trying high-profile cases.

In his decades in practice, Clark has achieved numerous successes in civil and criminal cases. He has recovered many million- and multimillion-dollar settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients in complex civil cases involving catastrophic injuries, medical negligence, industrial accidents, and commercial litigation. He has also secured acquittals on behalf of numerous clients in high-profile criminal cases, including The State of Oklahoma v. James Hogue, The State of Oklahoma v. Jamie Nicole Chambers, The United States of America v. Carol Howe, The United States of America v. Harold Staples, and The State of Oklahoma v. Charles Elliot to name a few.

Clark attended Central Michigan University, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977. He then when on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1980. He graduated from law school with honors as a member of the Order of the Curule Chair, the highest academic award given by the school. During his time in law school, he was also a member of the prestigious Order of Barristers, as well as Phi Delta Phi.

Currently, Clark is a member of several well-known and highly regarded professional organizations. These include the American Association for Justice and the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association, where he served as president in 1998. He is also an adjunct professor of law at the University of Tulsa Law School, instructing law students on the subject of evidence.

Clark is admitted to practice before the Oklahoma Bar; the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma; and the Northern District of Texas. He is also admitted before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
