Jakob F. Dodson

Jakob F. Dodson (“Jake”) is an associate at Brewster & De Angelis, PLLC. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2024, graduating with honors. Prior to law school, Jake worked as a Land Negotiator for Occidental Petroleum Corporation in Houston, TX and completed a fellowship with International Justice Mission. Jake earned a B.S.B.A. in Energy Management from the University of Tulsa in 2014.

While in law school, Jake was an Articles Editor with Tulsa Law Review. Jake served as Treasurer of the Student Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and as a delegate for the Student Bar Association. He completed an externship for Judge Greg Frizzell in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. He also participated in the Public Defender Clinic, representing clients before the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board with Project Commutation at Tulsa Public Defender’s Office; and participated in Project 850 with the Immigrant Rights Project Clinic, assisting refugees from Afghanistan with the asylum process.

Jake is admitted to practice before the Oklahoma Bar.
