Quadriplegic Suffered Burn Injury in Therapeutic Whirlpool

The plaintiff was rendered a quadriplegic in an automobile accident. He was receiving therapy, which included whirlpools. He was left in the whirlpool for an extensive period of time and the temperature of the whirlpool was too high. He suffered severe burns to his buttocks and legs. He required surgery for skin grafts and extensive burn treatment.
